Dimensions
Dimensions is a free one day training course for people who are interested in getting a job in retail. It's run by and held at thecentre:mk, for students and people returning to work – and covers a wide range of topics to help give an understanding of what working in retail is all about.
During the one day course, a wide variety of subjects are covered, including:

There's also a ‘working in retail’ talk from guest retailers, such as House of Fraser, Gap or Bhs. This part of the day focuses on giving an overview of day to day responsibilities when working in a shop, career prospects and management opportunities – and all from people ‘in the know’.
Dimensions participants are awarded a course certificate and have the opportunity to attend a further half day programme which concentrates on interview techniques and CV writing skills.
